Twenty police officers on October 2 began a 16-day training on Civil Aviation at Rwanda National Police headquarters in Kacyiru.
The civil aviation training is conducted by Rwanda National Police in conjunction with which Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA).
The training which is the first of its kind is focused at enabling airport unit officers to acquire knowledge in screening and searching of passengers and baggage, a feat which will contribute to the improvement of security at Kigali International Airport.
During the sixteen-day training, participants will be educated on the different restricted articles including weapons, explosives as well as incendiary devices.
