Over 80 people in Rwamagana district are under detention found in possession with counterfeited Rwandan currency notes.
The arrests were made on August 22 during a police operation in the district where money worth Frw 400000 was seized.
Police Spokesperson Supt. Theos Badege urged citizens to remain alert and be careful about the fake currency in circulation.
