Police sources have reported that a boy aged 12 has killed his sister and injured his brother for denying him food.
Theophile Muhimpundu hit and killed his 10 year old sister using a hoe and severely injured his four year old younger brother. The incident occurred in Nyaruguru District.
According to Police sources, the cause of the incident was that the victims refused to give him food.
The dead and injured were taken to Munini health center while the culprit is detained at Munini Police Station for further management.
Claudine Musabyimana, Muhimpundu’s mother said that her son had left school early without any reason. She said she was shocked by her son’s actions.
“It’s shocking that a twelve year old can commit such an atrocity,” Superintendent Theos Badege, the Police spokesperson said.
