Rusumo Border Connected to Electricity

About 200 households at Rusumo Border have been connected to electricity. Rusumo border connects Rwanda and Tanzania.

Previously residents in the area used solar power and diesel powered generators.

This was carried out by a Tunisian electricity and gas company STEG in partnership with EWASA.
